NAZA GROUP WINS THREE AUTO INDUSTRY AWARDS
MASERATI, NAZA KIA AND PEUGEOT TRIPLE WIN FOR NAZA GROUP AT THE ASIAN AUTO – VCA AUTO INDUSTRY AWARDS 2009
KUALA LUMPUR, 7TH JULY – The Asian Auto – VCA (Vehicle Certification Agency) Auto Industry Awards 2009 saw awards being presented to vehicles in 25 categories. To be in the running for an award, a candidate vehicle had to be introduced in Malaysia within the past 12 months (from June 2008 to June 2009). The presentation was held at Saujana Ballroom on the 6th of July.
Naza Group, the Malaysian distributor of Maserati, Kia and Peugeot vehicles, went home with three awards.
Best Performance Super Sedan – Maserati Quattroporte GTS
Best Value For Money MPV – Naza Kia Rondo
Best Local Assembly Compact Car – Peugeot 308 VTi
The Maserati Quattroporte GTS was introduced in 2009 by Naza Italia, Malaysian distributor of Ferrari and Maserati. Malaysian-assembled products, the Rondo and 308 VTi from Naza Kia and Nasim Peugeot respectively, were also recognised, validating the manufacturing quality of Naza’s Gurun, Kedah assembly plant.
