Carbon Footprint Certificate

Kia Sportage R compact sport utility received the Carbon Footprint Labeling Certification from the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute. The carmaker now has three models whose carbon footprint from production to scrapping have been certified by the state-run organization: Sportage, K5 and K7. The Sportage R produce 22.9 metric tons of carbon dioxide, assuming a total driving distance of 120,000 kilometers, from the production stage to scrapping.
